Scott Lewis, a Palm Beach landscaper whose court battles with Boies Schiller & Flexner’s chief financial officer date to 1996, finds himself the unlikely minority owner of the company that once tried to put him out of business.
Palm Beach Circuit Judge David French entered judgment Jan. 12 on yet another settlement — there have been several — that gives Lewis a 25 percent share of Nical of Palm Beach, which is controlled by Amy Habie, CFO at one of the nation’s most prestigious litigation firms.
