Major commercial real estate investors who have been eager to acquire a trophy office property in South Florida have their first opportunity of the year in the Miami Center.

The downtown Miami tower is the first to hit the market this year, according to the broker hired to work a deal. A Miami Center deal would be the first involving a top-tier office property in Miami’s central business district since the late 2010 sale of the Miami Tower.
