A jury decided Wal-Mart was not liable for the installation of a tire that resulted in a fatality.

Rosemary Wood, 62, was driving on I-10 when Francis White’s sedan crossed the center median. The left front of his car broadsided Wood’s vehicle. Wood was killed. Plaintiff counsel contended the Bridgestone tire had bead damage that would have been readily observable by a careful technician.
