A jury awarded $560,800 to a woman who slipped and fell in a restaurant rest room and fractured her left wrist.
Maria Beyro, then 52, said she slipped on soapy water on the floor of the bathroom at Nemo Restaurant in Miami Beach. She underwent open reduction and internal fixation. Beyro claimed there were inadequate warnings that the rest room was being cleaned.
