A delivery truck company was found not liable in the death of a bicyclist who struck a garbage truck head on.

Dorvil Lawrence, 33, was riding his bicycle on a Miami sidewalk. Plaintiff counsel claimed Lawrence rode his bicycle into the street to avoid a truck owned by Beaulieu Group, which was making a carpet delivery. Counsel contended the truck should not have been parked on the driveway. Counsel claimed the truck dipped onto the shoulder of the road, forcing Lawrence to ride into the street.
