Gov. Rick Scott appointed GrayRobinson partner Peter Antonacci on Friday as Palm Beach County state attorney, filling the position left vacant by the sudden resignation of Michael McAuliffe.

Antonacci, 63, of Tallahassee has been with GrayRobinson since 2000 and previously worked for Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell. He is a former Florida deputy attorney general and served as Florida’s statewide prosecutor from 1987 to 1990.
