A widely anticipated special session of the Florida Legislature was officially set in motion by a state Supreme Court’s rejection of the Senate redistricting plan.
The court split 5-2 Friday, with the majority finding eight Senate districts are unconstitutional and the numbering of districts favors some incumbents. The House version was accepted.
