For Fort Lauderdale lawyer Christopher Perez-Gurri, the journey from mailroom to boardroom has been astonishingly short.
Perez-Gurri was named an equity partner 12 years after starting with the law firm Hermelee & Geffin as a part-time mailroom employee and intern and just five years after being hired as a full-time associate. He is 32 years old and a 2006 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law.
