The Miami-Dade County Commission on April 3 will consider a step that could lead to a more permanent urban development boundary, as well as tougher rules to move the UDB in the future.

The commissioners will vote on a resolution that would create a working group to make recommendations on establishing a permanent boundary. The resolution is sponsored by commissioners Jose “Pepe” Diaz and Bruno Barreiro.
