When McDermott Will & Emery hosted a dinner at DB Bistro Moderne for a group of New York investor clients, everyone was dying to try the famous $34 db burger, which is filled with braised short ribs, foie gras and black truffle. The group ordered a few as appetizers and cut them up for the table to sample.
Since DB Bistro Moderne opened last November, the db burger has been the talk of the town, gastronomically speaking. The restaurant, in the lobby of the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel and Wells Fargo Center office skyscraper, was quickly adopted by downtown Miami’s power lunch crowd. They like the location, French cuisine, attentive service and sleek decor in three main dining rooms.
