U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has named Shook, Hardy & Bacon partner John Barkett to the U.S. Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Civil Rules.
Barkett will study the operation and effect of the general practice rules and procedure used in federal courts during his term on the Judicial Conference. He was chosen for a term expiring in October 2014 on the committee chaired by U.S. District Judge David G. Campbell of Arizona.
