In case companies needed another reminder that the U.S. government’s antitrust regulatory environment is white-hot right now, the Justice Department confirmed it at a conference in Washington.
“The pipeline is full. There doesn’t seem to be an end in sight,” Scott Hammond, the antitrust division’s deputy assistant attorney general for criminal enforcement, said last week.
