It took 23 days for a team of Greenberg Traurig lawyers to negotiate the $5 billion deal that’s taking the Burger King chain public again in a merger with London-based Justice Holdings, the transaction’s lead negotiator said Wednesday.
Time and secrecy were of the essence, according to Donn A. Beloff, a shareholder in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and the lead negotiator in structuring the transaction.
