Attorneys, judges and law firms will gather today at the Miami office of Akerman Senterfitt for a summit on pro bono services to encourage everyone from young associates to seasoned partners to fulfill their Bar oath by providing free legal services to the poor.

When Florida attorneys are sworn in, each agrees to “never reject, from any consideration personal to myself, the cause of the defenseless or oppressed, or delay anyone’s cause for lucre or malice.”
