The developer behind the new 1450 Brickell office tower in Miami’s Brickell area scored big this week: He sold a development site a few blocks away for nearly twice what he paid for it during the boom years. Alan Ojeda got $17.37 million for the site he bought for $9.5 million in 2006, a year before the financial and real estate markets collapsed.
The property at 1080 Brickell Ave. is about 2 acres gross, or about 1.57 acres net.
