QBE Insurance Corp., one of the world’s leading insurers, won a major case Thursday on Hurricane Wilma damage claims in the Florida Supreme Court.

The court ruled QBE did not breach an implied warranty of good faith by failing to investigate a claim in a reasonable time period — a key issue in an insurance claim filed after the 2005 storm by the Chalfonte Condominium Apartment Association in Boca Raton.
