Over the last year, a number of clients have dropped Big Law firms and switched to Miami-based Lydecker Diaz, drawn by rates 10 percent to 50 percent cheaper.
“We don’t have the overhead and legacy costs of a big law firm,” founding partner Richard Lydecker said. “You walk into some of these law firms, they are dripping in mahogany and marble. They have retired partners with a 10 percent share for life who are off to the golf course. We don’t have a lot of fat and overhead that the other firms have.”
