Daniel Catalfumo, whose high-flying Palm Beach County real estate empire fell hard during the recession, scored at least one victory this week over the Florida Department of Transportation.
Catalfumo’s win came in a long-running dispute with the state over its refusal to build access points for a “landlocked” 86-acre parcel he owned near the intersection of I-95 and PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens. Between Catalfumo’s land and PGA Boulevard was a strip of property owned by FDOT.
