Miami-Dade County Court Judges Cristina Miranda and Rodney Smith have been elevated to the circuit bench.
Miranda, 38, has served in county court since 2006. After finishing law school at the University of Miami, she went straight to the Miami-Dade prosecutor’s office, where she worked as an assistant state attorney from 1997 to 2006.
