As he looks toward retirement, Broward Circuit Judge Geoffrey Cohen considers one of his greatest accomplishments to be clearing his nephew’s name.

Marine Cpl. Jonathan Cohen died in a Humvee accident en route to a training exercise at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, in 2005. The Marines accused him of causing the accident, not wearing a seat belt and not having a valid driver’s license. They called it misconduct.
