Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle, a 19-year incumbent, is the leading fundraiser among candidates in justice system political races in the South Florida.

The state attorney’s Democratic primary is embroiled in a court fight over whether it should be an open or closed, but Fernandez Rundle had the clear advantage by Friday’s filing deadline for second-quarter financial reports with $565,570. Of that, $125,182 was raised in the second quarter.
