Miami-based Related Group got a preliminary victory on its plan to build a condo tower in Miami’s Edgewater area, north of downtown Miami.

The board recommended the city approve vacating and abandoning a portion of Northeast 28th and 27th streets as they run into Biscayne Bay, north of downtown Miami.
