The American Bar Association has recognized the University of Miami School of Law’s professional responsibility and ethics program and UM law professor emeritus Laurence “Lonny” Rose, director of its litigation skills program.
The school received the E. Smythe Gambrell Professionalism Award and will receive a $3,500 grant for its innovative efforts, exploration of professional responsibility issues, drafting academic materials and presentation of on-site ethics programs to nonprofit legal services, bar associations, government agencies, law firms and corporations.
