Attorneys, who should know the most about what goes on in Florida appellate courts, say jurists up for retention this year should keep their jobs, according to a Florida Bar poll released today.
Supreme Court Justices R. Fred Lewis, Barbara Pariente and Peggy Quince had an average approval of 90 percent. No justices have lost merit retention elections since the first one was conducted in 1978.
