The Deal: The long saga of the Biscayne Landing site in North Miami came to an end when the city finalized a ground lease with a joint venture between developer Michael Swerdlow and the New York-based LeFrak family. Oleta Partners LLC, the company created to sign the lease, also obtained a $30 million leasehold mortgage from Ladder Capital Finance LLC. That covers infrastructure improvements and closing costs.
