Miami Beach’s fabled Fontainebleau resort almost went bankrupt in 2008 when a major renovation came in almost six months late and 50 percent over budget, according to a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court.
In the suit filed Thursday, Fontainebleau Florida Hotel LLC says Dallas-based HKS Architects Inc., its project manager Richard Lee and two subcontractors, X-Nth Inc. and Ove Arup & Partners PC:
