Charging Wal-Mart Stores Inc. discriminated against female workers in seven states, 11 Florida women filed a class action suit Thursday in Fort Lauderdale federal court against the giant retailer.
Love v. Wal-Mart Stores seeks an end to allegedly discriminatory pay and promotion practices for female employees at Wal-Mart stores in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina and Sam’s Club stores in those states plus Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia.
