Banco de Credito e Inversiones, Chile’s fourth largest bank, has signed a long-term lease for 22,567 square feet in the Southeast Financial Center in downtown Miami.
The new location in downtown Miami would double BCI’s footprint in the city. Currently, the bank has its Miami office at 701 Brickell Avenue. The lease, which is for more than 10 years, is valued at $12 million, said Donald Cartwright, senior vice president with Jones Lang LaSalle, which handles leasing for the office tower. The bank plans to occupy the entire 23rd floor in the first quarter of 2013, Cartwright said.
