Atul Bisaria, an international hotelier from Boca Raton, will be fighting a bank foreclosure on his Boca Raton hotel next week, but that may be the least of his worries.

The prominent Palm Beach County resident, who is believed to be in India, has been indicted in Illinois on federal charges of bank fraud and wire fraud. The Oct. 9 indictment describes a scheme to obtain construction funds from Harvey, Illinois-based Mutual Bank and Chicago-based Broadway Bank.
