A veteran golf superintendent has hauled La Gorce Country Club to court, saying his former boss reneged on promises to extend his employment and replaced him with an “underling” at one-third his salary.
In the complaint filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, Frank Sbarro said the invitation-only private Miami Beach club hired him in September 2004 for $205,380 a year plus bonus.
