Miami-based Akerman Senterfitt, continuing to beef up its red-hot real estate and land use practice, has hired outgoing Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez.
Bermudez, mayor of Doral since 2003, leaves the post today, forced out by term-limits. On Monday, he joined Akerman as of counsel in the Miami office.
