Former Miami-Dade County Court Judge Ana Maria Pando wrote bad checks for more than two years and failed to report a financial gift from a friend she previously was charged with improperly helping, the state’s Judicial Qualifications Commission now charges.
The commission amended its ethics complaint against Pando, who lost her judgeship in the August primary and retired Nov. 8, two months before the end of her term.
