Former Broward Circuit Judge Ana Gardiner dabbed her eyes with tissue while testifying Wednesday in her ethics trial and talking about her bouts with depression.
Gardiner is charged by The Florida Bar with talking about murder defendant Omar Loureiro with prosecutor Howard Scheinberg at a restaurant during the trial she presided over. The Bar’s case rests largely on voluminous phone records showing 1,420 contacts between Gardiner and Scheinberg from the trial to sentencing.
