A jury awarded $432,025 to a man who claimed he sustained back and foot injuries when he slipped on a tile floor.

Yahia Steve Okosh, then 42, claimed that while he was preparing food in a kitchen at 3100 SW 13th Drive in Deerfield Beach, he slipped and fell on liquid. Okosh claimed the property manager, Robert Rosetto, did not install the proper floor tile for use in commercial kitchens. Okosh also claimed the tile did not have slip-resistant protection.
