A Hialeah man’s claim that his wife hid foreclosure notices under the sofa is not enough to vacate the lawful sale of their home, the Third District Court of Appeal ruled Wednesday.
Hilario and Isabel Sosa bought their home in 1987. Two years ago Mikon Financial Services Inc. sued to foreclose; in February Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Marcia Caballero granted Mikon summary judgment and ordered a June auction of the property.
