The Miami-based Related Group’s affordable housing division was awarded $46 million in 9 percent tax credits to fund two new public-housing projects for senior citizens.

Related Urban Development Group plans to renovate Jack Orr Plaza, an existing 200-unit building at 550 NW Fifth St., Miami, and build Collins Park Apartments in the city’s Allapattah neighborhood. Miami-Dade County Public Housing owns the public housing sites. The projects are to start next month.
