Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Beatrice Butchko will take retiring Judge Victoria Platzer’s place as associate administrative judge of the civil division next week.
Butchko, a 2006 appointee by Governor Jeb Bush, spent almost 11 years as an assistant state attorney followed by six years in private practice.
