Some of the leading federal appellate court practitioners and judges will be converging on Miami for a high-profile two-day continuing legal education event.

Today’s opening session marks the first time the Eleventh Circuit Appellate Practice Institute is being conducted away from the court’s home base in Atlanta, said Matthew J. Conigliaro, program chair and a shareholder at Carlton Fields in St. Petersburg.
