The story incorrectly reported the law firm closed its Gainesville office. The firm leases space in Gainesville for nonresident firm attorneys at the University of Florida Innovation Hub. But the firm does not list the office on its website, and the building website does not list Edwards Wildman as a tenant.

Edwards Wildman is losing a chunk of its Florida operation to other law firms, including six partners leaving to open a West Palm Beach office for Cozen O’Connor.

At least nine lawyers have resigned from Edwards Wildman’s main Florida office. Six partners are set to open a West Palm Beach office for Cozen O’Connor on Wednesday. Another partner and an associate left for Duane Morris, and another partner is leaving to join a client’s in-house legal department, sources and the firms have said.
