Lewis Tein partners Michael Tein and Guy Lewis billed $550 to $750 an hour en route to an almost $3 million legal tab defending two Miccosukee Indians in a civil wrongful death suit.
But Tein testified Tuesday that he couldn’t recollect showing any documents to his clients, Tammy Gwen Billie and Jimmy Bert, about their $650,000 offer to settle the lawsuit.
