Science fiction films have long shown wearable computers that respond to voice commands and display information in the wearer’s field of vision. Google Glass is about to turn this fantasy into reality.

Google Glass is a wearable computer with a head-mounted display (HMD) being developed by Google, the Mountain View, California, Internet and technology giant. Imagine a pair of glasses that projects a computer screen just millimeters from your eye. In addition to the projected display, Google Glass has a camera and a microphone and is able to take natural language voice commands.
