Armed with $170 million in federal tax liens, the Internal Revenue Service could theoretically padlock the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming complex west of Miami to force payment.
Though it requires a judicial determination, locking the doors of a business is just one of the tools in the IRS arsenal, Miami tax attorney David Garvin said Thursday.
