Jones Day, one of the most profitable and geographically diverse law firms in the world, has long been stymied in attempts to plant a flag in Miami, the legal gateway to Latin America.
Finally, Jones Day in May announced it was opening an office in the city. The outpost will be headed by Enrique Martin, a former Greenberg Traurig partner, and Pedro Jimenez, a former partner in New York who will be partner in charge.
