A fired assistant baseball coach is suing the University of Miami, a clinic accused of supplying steroids to Major League Baseball players, the clinic’s owners and three newspapers for publishing his “highly confidential” medical records and causing him to lose his job.
In a 25-count complaint filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, the former strength coach, Jimmy Goins, said the Miami New Times and the Miami Herald “published private facts that are offensive and not of public concern.”
