A Lake Worth real estate attorney who allegedly absconded with as much as $8 million in client money surrendered to federal authorities Thursday.
The FBI claimed in a criminal complaint filed Wednesday that some of Timothy McCabe’s victims were clients whose missing money was intended to purchase a residence or refinance mortgages.
