Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle is protected by immunity from a civil rights lawsuit filed by Miami City Commissioner Michelle Spence-Jones, her attorney told a federal judge Thursday.
Spence-Jones claims the longtime prosecutor and Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado directed a conspiracy to run her out of office in a public corruption case that failed.
