Italian carmaker Fiat, which controls Chrysler LLC, has lowered its 2013 earnings targets after reporting a third-quarter loss it blamed on Europe’s weak market.
The mass-market carmaker on Wednesday said it had made a loss of $20 million, down from a restated $41 million loss in the same period last year. Net profit including assets not wholly owned by Fiat rose 10 percent to $260 million, from $235 million in the same period last year.
