IHOP is not required to turn over a statement from a restaurant prep cook who lost his fingertip in a customer’s salad, the Fourth District Court of Appeal ruled Wednesday.
IHOP appealed two orders by Broward Circuit Judge Eileen O’Connor, but the court addressed only a statement obtained by IHOP’s insurance investigator from the injured Hallandale Beach cook, Ronald Neilly.
