Attorney turned scam artist Scott Rothstein directed his wife to hide $1 million in jewels, her attorneys said Thursday just before a federal judge sentenced Kim Rothstein to 18 months in federal prison.
The sentence was far shy of the advisory guideline range of 37 to 47 months and even below prosecution recommendation of 24 or 25 months.
