Another setback was suffered by a group of investors trying to recover nearly $8 million in real estate deposits from a failed Fort Lauderdale beachfront condominium tower project once promoted by Donald Trump.
Broward Circuit Judge Jeffrey Streitfeld refused Nov. 1 to reconsider his rejection of punitive damages. He initially denied the motion to amend the complaint to assert claims for punitive damages Sept. 16.
